autumn de wilde.
The warmer weather is making me crave a windows-down road trip in the country, and I think the perfect destination would be this installation by artist Autumn de Wilde called Lighting, Layers, and Reflections. Surprisingly (and somewhat randomly), the installation was designed as a backdrop for a new Cadillac Escalade advertisement, but hey, I'll take it. The combination of the vibrant color, soft sunny light, and the dusty California landscape is truly beautiful. Now I just need to find out if it's still standing, and if so, where I can find it! a good day for a trek.
these items by shelter make me feel like packing my bags and escaping to the woods - only in style. i love the simple canvas and leather combined with the bold pops of pattern and color. see more of their items at renegade handmade.
