making eyes.
anyone that knows me knows i'm a huge fan of a cateye, and i'm always collecting images to see how i can jazz them up. but that top photo might be my favorite cateye yet - perfectly executed with just a hit of unexpected sparkle in the right places. definitely trying that for the next big night out!
a ferm hand in the kitchen.
i love the featured color palette over at ferm living right now - the mixture of mint, gray, green, and dark teal are even managing to change my feelings on mauve, my least favorite color. somehow it all works together splendidly! not to mention, the detail in each of the pieces is beautifully restrained. i want it all - and if you want it too, see more here.

emerg(in)!
attention! some of my prints and cards are now being sold on emerg(in), a fabulous online boutique run by aussie naomi andrews. i love how she's curated her shop, so i'm honored to be included in the mix. pop over and check it out!

crazy for you.
secretary.
i am oohing and aahing over the latest autumn/winter line by australian designer kate sylvester, inspired by the cult fim secretary. the collection is elegant while still being quirky, and despite the slightly risque origins each piece still feels completely wearable. minus the restraints. see more here.
thereza rowe.
i'm really digging this illustration work by london based illustrator thereza rowe, whose color, quirky characters, and use of collage makes her work jump off the page (or screen). her shapes are clean, but the compositions keep things interesting, and the stories that her illustrations tell are quite weird but in the friendliest way. i especially love her piece above of the two people dancing - i feel like i can hear the tunes they're dancing to! see more of her work here.
